Demi Chef de Rang at 80% on a fixed-term contract

Job Description

• Know and apply the procedures in force for service;
• Know the menu, the dishes and be able to describe a dish;
• Manage the pass and the link between the kitchen and the restaurant;
• Communicate with all departments to ensure quality service;
• Answer the phone and take reservations respecting standards in the absence of a chef de rang;
• Ensure customers are served and maintain a presence on the terrace and in the lobby;
• Control cash and transactions made during the shift;
• Ensure cleanliness of customer areas, the office and menus;
• Maintain equipment and utensils;
• Restock tablecloths and napkins;
• Manage laundry and restock accordingly;
• Set tables according to standards;
• Attend daily briefings;
• Welcome customers and accompany them in the absence of a chef de rang;
• Serve and clear tables respecting standards;
• Deliver and clear room service trays;
• Assist the chefs de rang;
• Supervise the commis de rang;
