Junior Project Manager International Climate Protection Projects (gn) 80-100% at the Zurich, Hamburg, Berlin or Cologne location
Your tasks:
- You support project managers step by step in project development and project management and grow into the role.
- You find and evaluate new project ideas worldwide and turn visions into reality.
- You critically review potential projects: due diligence, risk analyses, and feasibility studies are part of your toolkit.
- You take responsibility for projects with manageable risks and successfully lead them to completion.
- You contribute your know-how in working groups and compile information that convinces – from market analyses to technical issues to the web presence.
- You dive into a complex, dynamic, and highly topical field.
- You collaborate with colleagues at international locations (Nairobi, Lima, Hamburg, Zurich).
- You keep an overview of many projects and sub-tasks and plan wisely.
Your profile:
- You have a university degree (Master) or an equivalent education/professional experience.
- You bring initial professional experience (1–2 years, also through internships) in the relevant field.
- You have interest or initial knowledge of the CO₂ market.
- You are curious, independent, flexible, committed – and eager to make a difference.
- You present yourself confidently and are enthusiastic about climate protection and sustainable solutions.
- You work structured, solution-oriented, and keep your goal in sight.
- You are communicative, a team player, and love international, intercultural collaboration.
- You speak fluent English; fluent German is an advantage.
- You have initial experience in project management.
- If possible, you already bring experience with remote sensing and geodata.
- You are interested in visiting the projects and willing to travel to the project countries.
