The Office for Career Guidance and Adult Education (BEA) assists young people and adults with career and study choices or planning their professional paths. It informs them about available offers and advises them in their decisions.

The BEA is available to the population of the canton for all questions related to career choice and professional development. It operates in a dynamic professional environment that is constantly evolving.
Your tasks
- Post-compulsory education and professional career
- You accompany and support individuals after completing compulsory schooling, including apprentices in a secondary level 2 and tertiary education pathway, as well as adults seeking advice on their career projects, educational plans, and professional development
- You inform and advise these target groups in their decisions
- You analyse and assess the employability of individuals
- You conduct workshops and information events for various target groups
Desired profile
- Master’s degree in Psychology of Career Counselling and Human Resources Management or another recognised qualification in career and vocational counselling or willingness to complete this training alongside work (not funded by the office)
- Outgoing personality and ability to speak in public
- Independent working style and good organisational skills
- Ability to handle stress and change
- Proficiency in German with knowledge of French
