To support the Data Center Team in the Zurich region, we are looking for you as our Commissioning / Support Specialist (m/f/d) 80–100 ). Yourplace of employment will be our headquarters «Connect» inOpfikon.
As an experienced Commissioning Engineer, you ensure the proper, timely, and quality-compliant commissioning of defined HVAC and electrical systems. You are responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and documenting all commissioning activities, taking into account project specifications, standards, safety requirements, and internal processes. You work closely with project management, specialist planners, suppliers, and the commercial team to ensure that the systems function according to planning, specifications, and operational concepts.
Your responsibilities
- You plan, coordinate, and schedule commissioning activities (Commissioning Level 1–3) on complex projects
- You review execution and revision documents from specialist planners, suppliers, and subcontractors and report deviations or missing information
- You create and maintain commissioning procedures, test plans, checklists, and complete commissioning documentation
- You coordinate contractors, suppliers, and specialists during the commissioning phase and accompany functional tests, approvals, and system releases
- You monitor and document the quality of execution and test results and ensure the follow-up of defects until resolution
Why you succeed
- You have formal training in building technology (HVAC or electrical)
- You bring at least 5 years of experience in commissioning data centers or similarly complex projects
- You possess very good technical understanding of HVAC, electrical, and MSR/BMS systems and their interaction
- You work in a structured, analytical, and solution-oriented manner and take responsibility in your area of tasks
- You communicate fluently in English; German skills are an advantage
