The municipality of Birmensdorf is located in a rural, natural, yet urban environment near the city of Zurich and is excellently connected by public transport (S14 and S5 from Zurich main station in 15 minutes).
The Birmensdorf primary school is a growing school with 10 kindergarten and 22 primary school classes and supplementary day care structures. The classes are taught in decentralized kindergartens and a central and shared primary school facility with four school buildings.

With us, you have the opportunity to gain versatile professional experience in caring for kindergarten and school children. You support children by accompanying them in everyday life and being a supportive reference person.
During the apprenticeship, you learn to lead groups of children and ensure compliance with rules and procedures. In addition to direct work with the day care children, you are regularly in contact with parents and other school professionals.
