The district capital Dietikon is a vibrant regional center and an important economic location in the rapidly growing Limmattal. The fifth largest city in the canton of Zurich has around 28,000 inhabitants and counts 3,100 students. The Dietikon school currently comprises six school units. It has many years of experience in the field of special education and integration, and also runs its own media and computer science specialist center.
The Fondli school unit is beautifully located near a farm, indoor swimming pool, and recreational area, within walking distance of Dietikon train station. At this nature-oriented, multicultural Quims school, we run kindergarten and primary school classes. A freely selectable day care service complements the offer. The entire school unit works according to the pedagogical concept of the New Authority by Haim Omer. Due to the positive response, Dietikon has decided to open a second forest kindergarten.
