The teaching materials publisher Zurich is one of the leading providers of teaching and learning media in Switzerland. As a cantonal publisher, it develops and produces teaching materials primarily for primary schools with around 75 employees.
The Digital Media department develops and produces the digital components of our learning media. As a representative during a maternity leave, we are looking for an initiative specialist as Project Manager Digital Media starting on November 1, 2025, or by agreement. The position is limited to one year. A permanent position is possible afterwards at approximately 70% workload.

Your area of responsibility
You accompany teaching material projects from the concept phase to production and are responsible for the digital project part. You actively, creatively, and decisively drive the digital changes forward. You work closely with the authors as well as the project managers of the editorial team, production, and colleagues from digital media. You negotiate with service providers and suppliers on equal terms and coordinate between internal employees and external experts.
Your profile
You have several years of experience in leading digital projects in interdisciplinary teams. In addition, you bring solid knowledge in current web technologies, CMS systems, and ideally also APIs and AI tools. Data analytics and data visualization are just as much part of your core competencies as your knowledge of e-learning and your in-depth media didactics and media pedagogy understanding. Your communication and organizational skills distinguish you as well as your flair for user experience. You enjoy working with prototypes and user feedback to continuously improve and adapt digital learning media to practice. Your strengths include a confident demeanor, sensitivity in project management, and agility in dealing with people. You work confidently and self-organized, are resilient, assertive, flexible, and a team player. You are familiar with the education system of the Swiss primary school as well as the development trends within the education sector. Ideally, you have a pedagogical education and teaching experience.
