Cloud Software Engineer (Java/GCP) 80-100%
Tasks
- As part of our system team, you are a central hub in our agile release train.
- You are responsible for the design, further development, and maintenance of modern and scalable microservices based on Java Spring Boot.
- You ensure the deployment and reliable operation of complex application landscapes in Google Cloud (GCP) and monitor the critical data flows to our subsystems.
- You observe market developments - especially AI-supported automation - and help us stay technologically up to date.
- Implementing quality and technical excellence with testing, monitoring, and best practices is a matter of course for you.
Requirements
- You have completed tertiary education or further training (HF, FH, University) in computer science.
- You are very familiar with Java Spring Boot development and can share your knowledge with other team members.
- You master various technologies around our technology stack, such as Java Spring Boot, MS-SQL Server, ArgoCD, Terraform.
- You professionally use AI tools in your daily development work for code generation.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines based on GitHub Actions is an advantage.
- You are familiar with agile approaches such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
- You have excellent written and spoken German skills and good English language skills.
