Job Description

As part of a major transformation programme, we are looking for a Senior Enterprise Functional Architect to support a leading financial institution based in Geneva.

You will join an Enterprise Architecture team and play a central role in structuring the organisation's data, business processes and information flows. You will help ensure data consistency, quality and governance in a highly regulated banking environment.

Your responsibilities

• Define enterprise data needs and their end-to-end lifecycle, from transactional systems to analytical platforms.
• Design and maintain the enterprise reference data models.
• Identify the "Golden Sources" for key business concepts and validate associated data flows.
• Create and maintain the functional mapping of the information system.
• Distribute functional capabilities among applications in collaboration with Business Analysts and Solution Architects.
• Actively participate in the governance of critical data in accordance with Swiss regulatory requirements.
• Define enterprise architecture standards and support their adoption within project and IT teams.
• Work closely with business teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Enterprise Architecture within a private bank, bank or wealth management institution.
• Strong expertise in Enterprise Data Modelling and Data Governance.
• Excellent knowledge of the Swiss regulatory framework applicable to the management of critical banking data, and ability to integrate the requirements of FINMA Circular 2023/1 into data governance and architecture practices.
• Experience in functional mapping and business process modelling (BPMN or equivalent).
• Good understanding of modern data architectures:
  • Data Lake
  • Data Warehouse
  • Analytical platforms
• Mastery of Data Quality and Master Data Management (MDM) principles.
• Good knowledge of wealth management business processes:
  • Client Onboarding
  • Portfolio Management
  • Compliance
  • Regulatory Reporting
• Ability to work with business and technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English.

Desired Certifications

• TOGAF (or equivalent certification in Enterprise Architecture)
• CDMP – Certified Data Management Professional (Practitioner / Level 2)
