Administrative Officer in Social Counseling 80-100%
In the field of Administration Social Counseling in Sursee, the following position is available from November 1, 2025 or by agreement:
The Social Counseling department is a competence center in polyvalent social counseling. The tasks can be divided into three areas: voluntary social counseling, economic social assistance, and legal clarification assignments (KESB, municipalities, courts). The Administration Social Counseling handles reception and performs administrative tasks for social counseling as well as mother and father counseling. This includes both tasks related to client administration and tasks to relieve the specialist departments.
- Counter and telephone service as the first point of contact and information center (Intake)
- Contact with external offices such as municipalities, health insurance companies, social insurances, etc. for brief clarifications
- Administrative support for the case-handling staff of the social service (interpretation service, appointment scheduling, list management, foundation and scholarship applications, e-report management, etc.)
- Preparation and submission of applications and social insurance registrations
- Accounting and payment transactions within the framework of voluntary income management and emergency aid fund
- Handling correspondence and general administrative tasks including filing, archiving, material management
- Assisting in the practical training of apprentices
- Commercial training EFZ is absolutely necessary
- Professional experience in a public administration
- Good knowledge of social insurance
- IT user skills (MS Office and KLIB)
- Fluent German (spoken and written)
- Resilient personality with the ability to keep a cool head in a demanding work environment
- Organizational talent, flexibility, high willingness to perform, and very good comprehension skills
- Interest in accompanying apprentices in their training
- Willingness to continuously educate oneself
