Assistant in Community Health and Care (ASSC)

(Fixed-term contract for 1 year at 100%)

Your mission:

• provide quality care in partnership with the patient and their surroundings, respecting the current care philosophy
• perform medical-technical and care services within the defined framework of your area of expertise
• carry out logistical, administrative, and household tasks
• promote interdisciplinary collaboration and actively participate in it
• work in pairs with nurses and thus take care of patients as a team
• supervise training staff
• certificate as an assistant in community health and care

Your profile:

• proficiency in French or German with good knowledge of the partner language, an asset

• (FEE training or willingness to become one, an asset)
• proficiency in basic and specific IT tools for the hospital field

• ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
• interpersonal skills and sense of communication
• flexibility, commitment, and ability to accept changes

Tasks

• Provide high-quality care in collaboration with the cared-for person and their environment, considering the applicable care guidelines.
• Perform medical-technical and nursing services within your area of competence.
• Carry out logistical and administrative tasks as well as household activities.
• Promote interdisciplinary collaboration and actively participate in it.
• Work in pairs with a nursing professional and thus care for patients as a team.
• Supervise trainees.
• Qualification as a Health Specialist (FaGe)

Profile

• German or French, good knowledge of the other language is an advantage
• BB qualification or willingness to acquire it, an advantage
• Knowledge of basic and hospital-specific IT programs
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team
