About the job
We are looking for a clinical pharmacist FPH or a specialist hospital pharmacist to join our dedicated and well-coordinated team from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.
Our hospital pharmacy ensures the supply of medicines and medical products to the hospitals in Schaffhausen. Cytostatics or mixtures for parenteral pain therapy are individually prepared for patients. Outpatient or ambulatory patients can redeem their prescriptions at the in-house public pharmacy. Clinical pharmacists support the medical staff in choosing drug therapies and advise on dosage adjustments or interactions. In the future, all prescriptions will be pharmaceutically validated as part of Unit Dose. To this end, we are creating a new position and are looking for you to strengthen our team!
What to expect
- Participation in the development and implementation of pharmaceutical prescription validation
- Involvement in interdisciplinary projects within the hospital
- Handling enquiries about medicines and medical products as well as validation of orders outside the range
- Co-responsibility for the quality management of the hospital pharmacy
- Participation in the daily operations of the hospital pharmacy without on-call duty
What you bring to us
- Completed studies in pharmacy as well as specialist title in clinical pharmacy FPH, further training as a specialist hospital pharmacist is an advantage
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary exchange and collaboration with various professional groups
- Good IT skills
- Independent, self-reliant and solution-oriented working style
- Team-oriented, communicative, resilient and responsible personality with initiative to further develop the hospital pharmacy
