Accounting Manager at 100%
The Finance Department has a threefold mission within the City of Morges. The main aspect is to prepare the accounts, manage and control the financial resources of the Municipality, and administer its financial assets. The second aspect, oriented towards other municipal services, aims to provide the necessary support to contribute to the overall mission of the Municipality. The third aspect covers the services offered to citizens in their financial relations with the Municipality. Within the framework of these activities, the Department is looking to fill the position of
Accounting Manager at 100%
Main tasks:
- maintain the accounting of the City of Morges according to public accounting standards (notably cash management and closing) with the accounting team
- participate in the preparation of the City of Morges operating budget
- collaborate in the implementation of management tools as well as various projects within the department
(for example, the implementation of the new harmonised second-generation accounting model)
- manage the Abacus tool (access management and daily use).
We are looking for:
- federal diploma as a specialist in finance and accounting or equivalent training
- approximately 10 years of proven experience in an accounting department, including several years within a public administration
- proven experience in team management
- knowledge of public accounting standards and MCH2
- skills in analytical accounting
- thorough knowledge of VAT
- proficiency in IT tools related to the function (particularly Excel and Abacus)
- course for corporate trainers (CFFE), an advantage.
