Functional Coordinator of Food Production Systems - CPA
The Food Production Centre (CPA) of the Hospital Logistics Department (DLOH) is looking for a functional coordinator of food production systems at a workload of 80% to 100%, on a permanent contract. The starting date is scheduled for 1st September 2026 or to be agreed.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research and education.
The Hospital Logistics Department (DLOH) implements essential logistical services enabling care, teaching and research activities to take place under the best conditions.
Within the hospitality service, the Food Production Centre (CPA), located in Bussigny, manages the cold production activities of the CHUV kitchens. More than 2.2 million meals are prepared each year thanks to the commitment of over 300 professionals, in a continuous quality and service improvement approach.
Mission
- You ensure the administration, configuration and development of the ERP software dedicated to food production management
- You guarantee the quality, consistency and compliance of the system data (items, recipes, production plans, catalogues and processes)
- You monitor suppliers, coordinate the handling of non-conformities and contribute to improving ordering and delivery processes
- You support users, provide their training, support and incident management related to orders
- You analyse needs, propose improvements and participate in the deployment of system developments in collaboration with internal and external partners
- You coordinate certain operational activities of the unit and participate in institutional projects related to your field of activity.
Profile
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma as an IT specialist, logistician or an equivalent qualification
- You have additional training in IT project management or process modelling (Business Process Modelling is an asset)
- You have experience in managing IT tools for production, traceability or logistics, ideally in the catering or food sector
- You possess good knowledge of data management systems, user support and access rights management
- You appreciate cross-functional work and are comfortable interacting with various stakeholders, whether business, suppliers or technical partners
- You demonstrate excellent organisational skills, autonomy, rigour, strong analytical thinking and are solution-oriented in a constantly evolving environment.
