StartSuisse, a platform specialised in professional support and connecting candidates with companies in Switzerland, is looking for one of its partners for a dynamic, rigorous and organised Sorting Agent to join a logistics team based in Geneva.

Sorting Agent M/F

Your tasks:

• Receive and sort parcels, goods or mail according to established procedures
• Identify and direct different products to the appropriate areas
• Check references, labels and delivery information
• Scan and record goods in computer systems
• Prepare parcels for shipment or distribution
• Report anomalies, damaged parcels or destination errors
• Keep the work area clean and organised
• Comply with safety rules and internal procedures

Profile sought:

• Rigour, speed and good organisational skills
• Good physical condition for work mainly standing and involving manual handling
• Ability to work in a team and keep up with the pace
• Punctuality, reliability and seriousness
• Comfortable with scanning tools and simple computer tasks
• Fluency in French is essential
• Previous experience in logistics, sorting or warehousing is an asset but not mandatory
• Available for variable hours according to needs
