The Hospital Network AR
The Hospital Network Appenzell Ausserrhoden with the acute hospital Herisau and the Psychiatric Centre AR in Herisau ensures extended basic medical care for the population in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care within the canton and beyond.
We are looking for
In education, the management led by Ms Sarah Tihanyi is seeking a Nursing Specialist HF in training for the Herisau hospital site from 22.03.2027 or 20.09.2027.
Your tasks
- You will receive structured and qualified support from professional trainers.
- You will participate in internal learning transfer days jointly with psychiatry.
- You will be scheduled for insights into other specialist areas (psychiatry and/or long-term care).
- You will gain insights during a 5-week special internship in the ICU or emergency department.
- You will be encouraged to take responsibility during your training.
- You will have various development opportunities after training within our organisation.
Therefore, we want you
- You have at least a three-year basic education with a federal vocational certificate (EFZ), a specialised middle school diploma, or the Matura.
- For the two-year training, you bring a federal vocational certificate (EFZ) as a health professional.
- You are characterised by strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Systemic thinking and a high sense of responsibility are among your strengths.
- In addition, you possess physical and mental stability and maintain a professional approach even in demanding situations.
