Social Worker at kjz Horgen 40%The Office for Youth and Career Counselling of the Canton of Zurich, branch office for the districts of Affoltern, Dietikon, Horgen, is a cantonal centre of expertise offering professional support in the areas of family/youth and career counselling. The Children and Youth Welfare Centre (kjz) is a counselling centre for families, parents, young people, children, and toddlers, operating on the basis of the Children and Youth Welfare Act of the Canton of Zurich.
For our kjz team, we are looking for a social worker from 1 November 2026 or by arrangement.

Tasks
You will advise and support children, young people, and parents within the framework of child protection measures in case management as well as on a voluntary basis. In addition, you will conduct assessments in cases of suspected child welfare endangerment. Close collaboration with family systems, authorities, schools, and other institutions and specialist agencies is important to us. Furthermore, your input and suggestions for the further development of our kjz Horgen are welcome.
Profile
You have a degree in Social Work (FH) and bring experience in youth and family welfare. We are looking for a solution-oriented and resilient personality with strong social skills, an appreciative attitude, and enjoyment of teamwork. Administrative tasks as well as the preparation of reports and case notes come easily to you.
