Elektro Meier AG becomes Eglin Elektro AG Würenlingen under new management by Marc Wey

Elektro Meier AG is about to take a significant step in its corporate development. After 55 years of company history – including over two decades as part of the Eglin Group – a new chapter begins.

As of 1 December 2025, Marc Wey will take over the management of Elektro Meier AG.

At the same time, the company will henceforth operate under the name Eglin Elektro AG Würenlingen. This step will complete the integration into the Eglin Group, which began back in 2002.

A managing director from within the ranks

Marc Wey has been firmly anchored in the corporate group for many years and has had an impressive career:

2009–2013: Apprenticeship as an electrical installer at Ing. W. Eglin AG, Ennetbaden

2015: Joined as service technician at Elektro Meier AG Würenlingen

2018: Promotion to junior project manager at Elektro Meier AG Würenlingen

2020: Transition to E-Service as project manager

2025: Appointment as managing director of Eglin Elektro AG Würenlingen

His career path demonstrates not only professional competence but also strong personal qualities such as reliability, responsibility, commitment, and teamwork. The Eglin Group is proud to appoint a leader from within its own ranks to the top position.

A name that reflects the future

With the appointment of the new managing director, the renaming to Eglin Elektro AG Würenlingen also takes place. This makes the affiliation to the Eglin Group transparently visible externally and creates a clear, future-oriented identity.
