Purpose and Objective:
Concur Technologies, Inc. seeks a Developer at our Bellevue, WA location responsible for development focusing on design, coding, testing, quality assurance of specific product features in a development team.
Expectations and Tasks:
Analyze and solve issues in existing and new code, design, implement, and maintain modules or features of product. Support design activities, including requirement analysis and design documentation. Support implementation activities, including implementation, testing, and integration. Extend, modify, or adapt existing designs or involved in the development of new subsystems. Enhance skills beyond own core functional focus and works on other tasks for the benefit of the team. Facilitate Scrum events on request or as required.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field of study.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Prior experience, internship or academic coursework to include each of the following:
- Java and open-source frameworks building RESTful services;
- Creating and maintaining micro-services and tools and lifecycle of micro-services development;
- Storing and retrieving data using SQL;
- Event Processing using Kafka;
- Logging, auditing and metrics using ElasticSearch, Kibana or Splunk and related DevOps responsibilities;
- AWS architecture;
- DevOps relating to code build or deployment using Kubernetes, Docker and infrastructure using AWS;
- Troubleshooting and debugging; and
- Git or Subversion.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $149,240 - $159,930. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $149,240 - $177,700. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
