What you do

You take on the technical responsibility for our electronic products throughout their entire lifecycle from product launch to discontinuation and act as the interface between development, production, purchasing and our suppliers. You understand electronic circuits at the assembly and component level and are able to analyse, test and assess technical changes in terms of function and implementation.

Your tasks include in particular:

• Testing and qualification of electronic assemblies for analogue and digital signal processing
• Introduction of new assemblies and products into series production
• Assessment of component discontinuations (end-of-life) as well as selection and introduction of suitable replacement components
• Planning, specification and maintenance of test equipment for production
• Conducting technical meetings and supplier visits at home and abroad (no price negotiations)
• Close cooperation with development, production, quality assurance and purchasing
• Participation in the new development and further development of electronic measuring transducers and systems

What you bring

• Technical training (apprenticeship, higher technical college or university of applied sciences) in electrical engineering or electronics
• In-depth knowledge of analogue and digital electronics
• Knowledge of electronics manufacturing (PCBAs, EMS, ESD, manufacturing processes)
• General knowledge of programming or interest in learning it
• Structured and independent way of working
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
• Good German and English skills
