- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on F/A-18 and future military aircrafts
- Carry out inspections, functional checks and testing in accordance with technical documentation
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and avionics systems
- Execute technical modifications and change orders
- Participate in aircraft preparation and return-to-service activities
- Ensure proper traceability of completed work and maintain maintenance documentation
- Actively contribute to safety, quality and continuous improvement within maintenance operations
What you should bring with you
- Completed vocational training in a (electro-)technical field (i.e. Polymechanic, Automation technician, Electromechanical technician or comparable)
- Strong interest in aviation and complex technical systems
- Good (technical) Englishskills a prerequisite (or strong motivation to improve this competence)
- Good command of either French or German; knowledge of a second national language is considered as plus
- Category B driving licence
- Reliable, precise and team-oriented personality with a strong sense of responsibility
- Swiss citizenship (due to military/air force related function)
Optional but highly advantegous: previous aviatic and/or military jet related experiences( i.e. EASA Part-66 modules, B1/B2 licenses, SAP or other IT-management systems)
