Product Specialist 80 – 100 % (m/f/d)

The Business Unit Process Analytics develops, produces, and sells state-of-the-art process measurement technology for customers in biopharma, chemistry, and breweries. Our product portfolio includes sensors for critical process parameters such as pH value, oxygen, or sensors for measuring cell density, which are extremely important in biological processes and unique worldwide with their innovative technology.
What you can achieve:
- Control and coordination of collaboration between R&D, customer support, as well as sales and marketing to efficiently implement product improvement and change projects and deliver them on time
- Planning, monitoring, and documentation of change orders, firmware/software release notes, and change reports to ensure the quality and long-term success of the products
- Planning, control, and support of phase-out projects for products and product lines at the end of their lifecycle
- Support of product managers in managing the product portfolio throughout the entire product lifecycle
- Coordination of the operational day-to-day business in product management, e.g., handling product-related inquiries and supporting sales, customer support, and technical support
- Maintenance and management of all product-relevant documentation in the ERP system, including product lines, bills of materials, price lists, Declaration of Quality (DoQ), Declaration of Conformity (DoC), and product specifications
- Organization and execution of reviews to ensure the availability and traceability of product-related documents and data
- Ensuring transparent communication about product changes and product launches to all relevant teams
- Support of verification and validation activities (V&V) to optimize tests and experiments for new functions and products
What you bring:
- Degree in business administration, natural sciences, and/or technical specialization
- Experience in (operational) product management is an advantage
- Experience or knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft D365) and MS Office
- High customer orientation and willingness to travel (approx. 10 – 20 %)
- Fluent written and spoken German and English skills
- Organizational talent with careful, solution-oriented, and reliable working style and technical affinity
- Ability to work independently and interdisciplinarily
- Strong team behavior, effective communication, and high quality awareness
