The Robotics Business Unit develops, produces, and markets pipetting robots to automate liquid handling processes for the pharmaceutical, food industry, and cell or DNA research.

This is what you can achieve:

Development and implementation of practical GenAI solutions for industrial applications

Design and realization of systems with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) for document analysis and knowledge management

Development of assistance and agent solutions to specifically support engineers, service staff, and other departments

Integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) into existing systems and workflows

Optimization and fine-tuning of LLM-based applications for specific use cases

Design of prompt engineering strategies as well as conversation flows

Close collaboration with departments to identify, evaluate, and implement suitable AI use cases

Evaluation and continuous monitoring of AI solutions regarding performance, robustness, and quality

This is what you bring:

Completed university degree in Data Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable field

Passion for GenAI concepts such as Classical & Agentic RAGs and current developments in AI

Solid knowledge in software development, including clean code practices, version control (Git), unit tests, and modular architectures

Profound knowledge of the basic principles of DevOps, especially Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Very good programming skills in Python and SQL

Experience, for example, with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI), tools (e.g., Docker, Git, REST APIs, Jupyter Notebooks), data processing (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, text preprocessing), LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack), as well as vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, FAISS) is an advantage
