Starting 1.1.2026 or by arrangement
Workplace: Sursee / Home office
What you can achieve
As part of the Education team, you take responsibility for central training activities within the SLRG education system. You design educational offerings, accompany people in their development, and actively contribute to the further development of our organization.
At the SLRG headquarters, we have been working self-organized for several years and maintain a collegial leadership style. Without classic hierarchies, we are all challenged to take responsibility, contribute, and develop further – while enjoying a great deal of creative freedom.
As the person responsible for training, you take on the continuous development of the SLRG's training and continuing education offerings.
You plan, organize, and conduct the continuing education weekends for our SLRG instructors (one to two weekends per year).
You review equivalencies of training and advise committed volunteers on their path into the SLRG education system.
You work in projects and working groups and contribute to the general further development of the education system.
You support the Education team with other tasks and in collaboration with partners (e.g., J+S, esa, ILSE).
What you bring
solid education in the field of education (university or university of applied sciences degree in adult education or trainer certificate)
experience in project management
willingness to take responsibility
networked and solution-oriented thinking
independent and structured way of working
teamwork, flexibility, and a service-oriented attitude
confident communication in German as well as solid knowledge of French and/or Italian
interest in topics related to water safety and ideally knowledge of the structures of Youth+Sports (J+S) and/or Adult Sports Switzerland (esa)
What to expect from us
a meaningful activity in the largest Swiss organization for safety on, in, and around water
a self-organized, collegial working environment with great creative freedom and personal responsibility
contemporary social benefits and comprehensive opportunities for personal and professional development
a modern working environment with home office options
a strong national anchoring as a member organization of the Swiss Red Cross (SRK) – we act according to the Red Cross principles.
Do you like the idea of contributing to our team?
We look forward to receiving your application by 30.11.2025 – a short motivational video would support your application (max. 2 minutes, mobile phone video is sufficient) answering the question: "What excites me about the SLRG and the role?"
Send your documents electronically to Denise Bieri (d.bieri@slrg.ch).
