The Burgerspittel is the senior citizens' institution of the Burgergemeinde Bern. In a unique environment, we offer care and support as well as numerous hospitality services for around 190 older residents. We maintain a warm welcome culture and meet employees and residents openly and appreciatively.

Your area of responsibility
- Overall responsibility for care quality and organization at the Viererfeld location with around 80 employees in care
- Leadership and further development of three ward managers and other specialists
- Ensuring optimal staffing planning considering the budget
- Development and implementation of modern care concepts and standards
- Ensuring communication with residents, their relatives, and employees
- Interdisciplinary and exciting collaboration in the executive board
Your profile
- Completed training in care and support HF/FH/DNII
- Professional certificate as RAI expert and experience in palliative care is an advantage
- Proven leadership experience with high social and self-competence
- Several years of current professional experience in long-term care
- Training or further education in leadership or management desired
- Focus on the best possible care quality in line with high resident and employee satisfaction
- Ability to balance human and business aspects
- Very good German language skills (spoken and written, as well as understanding Swiss German dialect)
- Good user knowledge of industry-standard IT systems and applications
