About the job
As a Datacenter Solution Architect, you are responsible for the design and implementation of modern storage solutions. You connect customer requirements with technical solutions and accompany projects from the idea to implementation.
Your tasks:
Presales & Solution Design (approx. 50%)
- Technical responsibility in customer projects in the area of storage and datacenter
- Analysis of customer requirements and
- Development of scalable solution architectures with a focus on Huawei Storage
Support of sales during customer appointments, workshops and presentations
- Creation of offers, technical concepts and architectures
- Participation in RFP/RFI tenders
Positioning of solutions with a clear focus on business value and customer benefit
Project implementation & delivery (approx. 50%)
- Responsibility for the implementation of storage projects from A to Z
- Installation and configuration of Huawei Storage solutions (e.g. OceanStor)
- Integration into existing datacenter infrastructures
- Technical leadership in projects as well as support with complex issues
- Analysis, optimisation and troubleshooting of customer environments
- Close collaboration with internal teams (network, virtualisation, security)
- Several years of experience as a Solution Architect, Senior Engineer or Consultant
- Experience in both presales and implementation
- Customer-oriented work with pronounced consulting competence
- Experience at an IT service provider/system integrator is an advantage
- Fluent in German and very good English skills, French skills are an advantage
- Work location: Wallisellen or Bern
