Job description:
As part of a maternity leave replacement, you will join our microbiology laboratory where you will carry out a varied activity. You will be particularly involved in:
- participating in the collective response to more than 100,000 annual medical analysis requests in the laboratory (all disciplines combined)
- monitoring, maintaining and servicing equipment, according to the responsibility matrix defined within the department
- managing and developing a specific area of activity (for example: PCR)
Required profile:
You will be the architect of your success thanks to your
- professional experience of at least 2 years in a similar environment, ideally including weekend work (without night shifts),
- mastery of the main techniques and knowledge in microbiology, such as inoculation, culture, bacterial identification, reading and interpretation of antibiograms as well as PCR techniques,
- recognised versatility allowing you to independently perform, validate and transmit all analyses of a microbiology laboratory,
- professional curiosity and reflective capacity leading you to question the meaning and purpose of your daily activities.

Proactive and autonomous, you master MS Office tools, have a strong quality orientation and are comfortable with computer systems and laboratory software.
Level of education:
Diploma of Biomedical Analysis Technician ES (or equivalent diploma recognised by the Swiss Red Cross) required
