Bio-cleaning Agent M/F – Permanent Contract with Set Hours
The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,000 employees. The Rennaz Hospital Centre has over 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatric and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. The Cleanliness, Hygiene and Environment Unit (UPHE), attached to the Facility Management service, encompasses hospital bio-cleaning, laundry and waste management activities.
Join our bio-cleaning teams! We are looking for pool staff available to work, according to their availability, in the various departments of our hospital and our two geriatric and rehabilitation centres.
The main duties of this position are
To cover short or long-term absences in the various sectors of the cleanliness, hygiene and environment unit across our 3 sites (Rennaz, Monthey and Vevey).
The different sectors and hours in which you may be required to work:
* Sector 1A Common area
Hours: Monday to Sunday // 06:00 - 20:00
* Sector 1B Clothes vending machine area and bed centre
Hours: Monday to Sunday // 06:00 - 20:00
* Sector 2A Common area evening shift / Sector 2B Patient hospitalisation area / Sector 2C High-risk area (emergency, critical care, dialysis, pharmacy and operating theatre)
Hours: Monday to Sunday // 06:00 - 18:00
We require
- A school leaving certificate and significant experience in a similar role
- Experience in the medical and/or hospital field is desirable
- Knowledge of hygiene and hospital risk management is desirable
- Fluency in French, both spoken and written
- Versatility: ability to work across multiple sites
- Motivation and rigour: active participation in maintaining the hygiene and safety of our premises
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Organisational skills
- Autonomy: although work is often team-based, it is important to be able to work independently while respecting protocols
- Good physical condition: bio-cleaning can be physically demanding
- Adaptability: work protocols vary, so good adaptability and openness to learning are necessary
