Scientific Employee 80%The financial administration organizes the finances of the canton of Zurich and enables an overall view. It prepares the budget with financial plan and the accounts of the canton on behalf of the government council. It prepares financial decisions of the government council, ensures an efficient accounting system, and provides corresponding services for the entire administration.
The Financial Management Department develops the budget and financial planning of the canton and prepares the financial reporting. It provides opinions on government council matters from a financial law perspective.
In the Financial Law and Opinions division, we are looking for a scientific employee with a legal flair to start immediately or by arrangement.
Your tasks:
- Drafting opinions on proposals to the government council from the perspective of financial law and financial planning
- Preparing information for the financial director
- Analyses of expenditure law issues
- Further development of expenditure law and conceptual development of the basis for future legislative revisions
- Knowledge transfer and documentation on expenditure law, conducting training sessions, and participating in committees
Your profile:
- University or university of applied sciences degree at master level (especially political science, law, or economics)
- Proven professional experience in public administration and experience in applying legal texts
- Analytical and conceptual skills, independent and quality-conscious working style
- Strong editorial skills to present complex issues in easily understandable language
- Proactive and confident personality with joy in knowledge transfer
