Baking bread in the museum for a summer…
For the historic wood-fired bakery at Ballenberg, the Swiss Open-Air Museum, we are looking for a:
- Assignments of 2 days per week, depending on visitor numbers 4 to 8 hours per day
- Work also on weekends
- Professional with interest and joy in traditional baking craft
- Experience or interest in practicing the craft on a historic wood-fired oven, accustomed to clean (hygienic) work
- Enjoyment of contact, warmth, interest in people
- Language skills in French and English are a valued plus
The bakery house (in the Stöckli from Detligen/Radelfingen) is accessible to our visitors. Thus, besides the actual baking activity, interaction with visitors is an important aspect.
