About the job

The Special Needs Education Centre Hagendorn specialises in the education and care of children and young people with cognitive and/or multiple impairments.

For our three-year school programme (Secondary Level II), which offers individualised settings for young people from 15 years old with support needs, we are seeking a teacher or a school special needs educator for a fixed-term temporary position from 1 October 2026 to 31 July 2027. There is the possibility of transitioning to a permanent contract from summer 2027.

Your Tasks

Delivering high-quality teaching in line with the curriculum
Creating a diverse educational offer that enables optimal social and individual development, focusing on career and employment choices as well as preparation for adult life
Ensuring, evaluating and adapting support measures in consultation with involved staff and parents
Parental engagement
Interdisciplinary collaboration within the team and with specialists
Taking on delegated administrative, organisational and content-related tasks for the learning group
Participation in school development projects and/or quality assurance processes

Your Profile

Completed studies in School Special Needs Education or willingness to commence such studies
Experience teaching children and young people with cognitive impairments or motivation to acquire this experience
Resilient and innovative personality
Interest in actively shaping the education of the future!
