Apprenticeship as ICT Specialist EFZ 2027 100%Do you want to become part of Switzerland's economic engine and shape your professional future with the Canton of Zurich? Then you are exactly right with us. Around 300 apprentices complete their training with us in 25 different professions. Of these, around 70 young people are currently training in the ICT sector.
Training places for ICT specialists are available, for example, at vocational and cantonal schools, at the Office for Informatics, and at courts. A 24/7 functioning ICT infrastructure is indispensable in today's working world. The internal IT departments with their employees and trainees are responsible for smooth operation.
The Apprenticeship
In the three-year apprenticeship as an ICT specialist, you act as a contact person between installation and support. You install hardware and software, expand device configurations, and ensure their operation and maintenance. You support users with support requests, instruct them in the use of ICT tools, and create user manuals.
In inter-company courses, projects, and events, you can expand and deepen your professional, methodological, social, and personal skills.
The Requirements
For the apprenticeship as an ICT specialist, we are looking for secondary school students of intermediate level with good grades in German and English. In addition, you should have an interest in and enjoyment of working with people as well as skill in handling technical devices. Your social skills and an open personality are also very important to us, as you will work a lot in teams and have daily customer contact.
