- Design and implementation of modern cloud architectures as well as migration of existing applications to Azure-native container services, especially AKS
- Operation and further development of the Kubernetes environment including resource management, scaling, networking and technical troubleshooting
- Development and maintenance of a modular Terraform framework as well as definition of sustainable standards for Infrastructure as Code
- Build and operation of CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions as well as automation of recurring platform and operational processes
- Further development of observability and platform reliability with a focus on metrics, logs, traces, SLIs, SLOs and alerting
- Implementation of security-by-design principles as well as participation in cloud governance, compliance and technical audits
- Close collaboration with engineering, data and security teams as well as active shaping of architecture, technical standards and platform roadmap
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a cloud platform engineer, DevOps engineer, site reliability engineer or in a comparable technically demanding infrastructure role
- Profound understanding of cloud and system architectures, distributed systems, networking and modern platform concepts
- Very good practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure, especially architecture, core services, networking, IAM and monitoring
- Solid Terraform experience including module development, state management, testing and building standardized infrastructure-as-code structures
- Several years of experience in productive operation of Kubernetes, ideally AKS, as well as very good knowledge of containerisation and Helm
- Experience with GitHub Actions, CI/CD, automation and modern observability technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana or OpenTelemetry
- Fluent German skills (C2) as well as very good English skills (at least B2)
- Knowledge of Azure Landing Zones, cloud security, scripting, SAFe as well as relevant Azure or Terraform certifications are an advantage

Responsibilities
- Build and further develop a scalable Azure Cloud Platform including Landing Zone, Governance, Networking, Identity and Security- Design and implementation of modern cloud architectures as well as migration of existing applications to Azure-native container services, especially AKS
- Operation and further development of the Kubernetes environment including resource management, scaling, networking and technical troubleshooting
- Development and maintenance of a modular Terraform framework as well as definition of sustainable standards for Infrastructure as Code

Profile
- Completed university degree in computer science, system engineering, software engineering or a comparable IT field at bachelor or master level- At least 5 years of professional experience as a cloud platform engineer, DevOps engineer, site reliability engineer or in a comparable technically demanding infrastructure role
- Profound understanding of cloud and system architectures, distributed systems, networking and modern platform concepts
- Very good practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure, especially architecture, core services, networking, IAM and monitoring
