Landenhof is a leading competence center for the training and support of hearing- and visually impaired people in the canton of Aargau. The center includes the day special school for hearing and vision with a weekly boarding school, the audiopedagogical service with the support point for gymnasium/middle school, the paedaudiological and visiopedagogical service, the counseling for hard of hearing and deaf people in Aargau Solothurn, the Aargau visual aid, as well as supportive services.
We are looking for an immediate or agreed upon start for a
Specialist in the Field of Vision (60-100%)
The goal of this newly created position is to strategically and professionally expand and sustainably further develop the field of vision at Landenhof.
The main focus of the task is initially the planning and implementation of the target group expansion Vision plus+ as well as blindness at the day special school for vision. Building on this, the position includes the further development and strengthening of the specialist field of vision as well as the promotion of interdisciplinary collaboration.
Your tasks
Further development of the school offerings at the day special school for vision
Conceptualization and expansion of the specialist field of vision with the existing departments of the visiopedagogical service and Aargau visual aid
Promotion of cross-departmental cooperation, exchange, and networking within Landenhof
Organization and implementation of further training offers for specialists, teams, and employees at Landenhof
Your profile
Master's degree in curative and special education or equivalent qualification
Further training as a rehabilitation expert for people with visual impairment and blindness, specializing in low vision, orientation + mobility, practical life skills, or equivalent qualification
Experience and/or further training in project management
Systemic attitude and high social competence
Strong willingness to collaborate, open communication
