Engineer: Development of Production Technology

Your tasks, responsibilities, and competencies

Our innovative facade and roof-integrated photovoltaic products are as individual as our customers. For scaling our manufacturing, we are looking for engineers (juniors and seniors) from the fields of mechanical engineering, process engineering, electrical engineering, and software. The tasks include:

• Development of new production machines and entire lines from the first concepts to commissioning in production
• Finding and negotiating with system suppliers of automation solutions
• Analysis of existing and development of new production processes, as well as evaluation of new technologies
• Optimization and further development of existing production lines
• Collaboration with other teams (machine assembly, production, software, PV system construction, product development, …)

Your profile and your skills

Professional qualifications

• Completed studies in electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, systems engineering, robotics, production technology, or a related field (ETH, university, university of applied sciences)
• 3D CAD knowledge (Autodesk Inventor or comparable)
  
• Experience in developing machines and production processes
  
• Knowledge in automation technology and control technology is an advantage
• You have good oral and written English skills

Personal requirements

• You are enthusiastic about technology, independent, reliable, and focused
• You have an above-average quick grasp, want to drive new things forward, and quickly find your way in complex systems
• You are down-to-earth and bring enthusiasm for practical application
• You have great interest in and, if possible, experience with the latest development and organizational methods (AI, SCRUM, test-driven development, among others)
