Job Description

Performing correct and operation-specific positioning of the patient in all specialist areas
Carrying out pre- and post-operative measures for surgeries
Co-responsibility for the smooth running of the operating theatre by ensuring patient positioning
Ensuring patient well-being and patient safety
Checking all medical-technical equipment for completeness and functionality as well as their operation
Supporting the instrument nurse during surgical procedures
Adhering to hygiene and asepsis rules
General cleaning and restocking tasks as well as maintaining order in all rooms of the operating theatre area
Ensuring complete patient documentation and performance recording
Respectful interaction with patients, customers and hospital staff

Qualifications

Completed specialist course in operating theatre positioning and many years of experience in this role
Technical skill
Sense of responsibility, commitment and flexibility
Open and team-oriented personality
Very good German language skills, spoken and written
