What is my role?

• Independent programming of CNC lathes with FANUC control using ISO programming

• Professional setup and operation of CNC machines, especially long-turning automatics

• Conducting quality checks during and after the machining process to ensure highest precision

• Performing tasks on conventional lathes for special manufacturing assignments

• Undertaking various workshop tasks such as assembly, adjustment, and maintenance work

• Continuous optimisation of machining techniques and production processes to increase efficiency and quality

• Contributing to process improvement and bringing in own ideas for production optimisation

• Collaboration with the 7-member team to ensure smooth production workflows

• Care and maintenance of machines as well as ensuring operational readiness

• Documentation of work processes and preparation of technical documents

• Active use of the offered scope for independent work design

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed training as a Polymechanic EFZ or equivalent qualification

• Several years of solid professional experience with CNC lathes, ideally with long-turning automatics with FANUC control

• Proven experience in independent programming, setup, and monitoring of CNC machines

• Very good ISO programming skills, especially on Fanuc controls (mandatory)

• Experience with multi-axis CNC machines, preferably STAR long-turning automatics, is an advantage

• Knowledge of working on conventional machines

• Ability to optimise machining techniques and processes

• Good German language skills in spoken and written form for technical documentation and team communication

• Strong team spirit and enjoyment of working in a 7-person team
