About the job
We are looking for you for the Anaesthesia department from 1 February 2027 or by arrangement as a Senior Consultant with a workload of 80-100%.
Anaesthesia, as part of the Medical Service Centres, performs around 6500 anaesthesias annually across a broad professional spectrum. With a 24-hour specialist presence system (shift work), we ensure anaesthesiological care in the operating theatre, intensive care unit, delivery room, emergency department and during resuscitations.
What to expect
- Broad anaesthesiological spectrum of a medium-sized cantonal hospital including obstetrics
- Deployment in the areas of intraoperative and perioperative anaesthesia
- Independent work in service operations (day responsibility, shift work, weekend duty, night duty)
- Training of assistant doctors within the team
What you bring to us
- Specialist in Anaesthesiology FMH or equivalent
- Preferably also first position as Senior Consultant with specialist qualification in Anaesthesiology
- Independence and efficiency in performing regional and general anaesthesia
- Willingness to positively develop yourself, the team and anaesthesia in Schaffhausen
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
