The building administration is responsible for the planning, construction, and maintenance of the municipal infrastructure as well as for planning tasks and the building permit procedure. In close cooperation with private builders and the city council, this administrative department significantly contributes to the structural development of Amriswil. Clerk (m/f) Building Administration (80-100%) with Development Potential
Your main tasks:
- Participation in the building permit procedure and in planning matters
- Consultation of builders, planning offices, or other stakeholders
- Processing of legal remedy procedures and taking over enforcement tasks in the building permit procedure
- Development of smaller municipality-specific construction projects
- Administrative tasks as well as drafting decisions/permits and correspondence
- Maintenance and management of files as well as work in specialized applications
- Participation in the optimization of processes and workflows
Your profile:
- Completed training as a draftsman EFZ, TS structural engineering, or commercial clerk EFZ
- Several years of experience in construction and planning, preferably in public administration
- Good knowledge of administrative law or willingness to familiarize yourself with it
- Interest in construction law issues as well as political and internal administrative processes
- Independent, structured, and precise way of working
- High service orientation and communication skills, negotiation skills
- Willingness to develop professionally and take on new tasks
