For the Maintenance Services Electro department at the Bern location, we are looking for a
Electrical Specialist / SME Electrical & Electrical Engineering Planner
Main tasks
- Planning and execution of electrical projects in industrial and building sectors
- Function as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for electrical and safety systems in investment projects
- Creation, maintenance, and updating of electrical schematics, installation plans, and technical documentation
- Coordination and supervision of external planners, electricians and control cabinet suppliers
- Review of switchgear assemblies (SGK) for specification compliance (DS) as well as correct setup and installation
- Selection and definition of suitable components as well as support in the replacement procurement of discontinued parts
- Execution of tasks as a network operator according to NIV
- Control of incoming safety certificates as well as conducting spot checks including creation of measurement and test protocols
- Compliance with all safety guidelines and active contribution to the further development of the safety culture
Qualifications
- Completed training as an electrical master craftsman (expertise), electrical planner, electrical installation and safety expert or electrician with appropriate further training
- Several years of professional experience in the areas of electrical installations, control cabinet construction, electrical control systems in an industrial environment
- Solid technical knowledge combined with practical experience in electrical and safety systems
- Ability to coordinate and supervise planners, suppliers, and contractors
- Independent, structured working style with a strong quality awareness
- High safety and responsibility awareness as well as knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
- Fluent German skills in spoken and written form
- English skills are an advantage
