Responsibilities

• You take on the personnel and professional leadership of the ward
• You are responsible for the targeted and economical deployment of all staff under your supervision in the operational daily business
• You are responsible for ensuring nursing processes within the team as well as compliance with quality standards
• You are responsible for ensuring the exchange of information and cooperation within the ward, the entire nursing service, and with other disciplines
• You bear the main responsibility for leading and promoting staff as well as for the periodic conduct of employee appraisals and performance evaluations
• You are responsible for the further development of the team and share responsibility for the professional development of students/trainees on the ward
• Occasionally you support your team by working in nursing care

Profile

• You have completed training as a Dipl. Nurse HF/FH
• You bring at least 2 years of professional experience in an acute hospital
• You have recognised further training in monitoring care (NDK IMC; NDS intensive, anaesthesia or emergency care) or the willingness to undertake further training in adult monitoring care
• You enjoy the further development and quality assurance of nursing
• Conceptual, networked and entrepreneurial thinking are as important to you as business management actions
• You are an organisational talent and resilient
• You convince with a structured way of working
• Your team spirit is characterised by high social and communication skills with appropriate negotiation skills and assertiveness
