About the job
A historic site, the Pâquis site housed the first infirmary of Morges in the 19th century, then the city’s first hospital, before being converted into a nursing home in the 1970s. With its renovated premises, the site now hosts some of the administrative functions of the EHC, such as human resources, finance, and information systems. The "Pâquis" site regained its medical purpose with the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, becoming one of the canton’s largest testing and vaccination centres. Today, this site houses the Pâquis Medical Centre, the endocrinology-diabetology centre, and the infusion centre.
We are looking for the following for our administrative Pâquis site:
Debt Manager (M/F) at 80-100%

- An autonomous position, five minutes’ walk from Morges station, within a team of four people working closely with the accounting manager.

YOU HAVE
- A commercial employee CFC or an equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in both hospital billing and debt management.
- Knowledge of billing methods (Tardoc / outpatient flat rates / SwissDRG / etc.) and insurance (LAMal, LAA, AI) is an asset.
- The ability to work independently and in an organised manner.
- Proficiency in common IT tools and, if possible, knowledge of Opale.
- A communicative personality, comfortable in negotiation and service-oriented.
- The ability to propose improvements within a continuous improvement approach.
YOUR OBJECTIVES
- Manage unpaid invoice files related to the various services offered by the Ensemble Hospitalier de la Côte.
- Monitor payment deadlines from patients, health insurance funds, accident insurance, and other social organisations.
- Handle coverage refusals, prepare appeals, and ensure follow-up with insurers and internally.
- Collaborate with medical, financial, and legal services to document files.
- Check insurer reimbursements and identify discrepancies or disputes.
- Contribute to improving internal debt management processes to reduce collection times, including implementing management indicators.
- Manage specific cases such as legal proceedings and bankruptcies, guardianships, and estates when necessary.
- Conduct regulatory monitoring on LAMal, LAA, AI developments and their impact on procedures.
