Industrial Vision at Mikron is inspired by and integrates the latest technical developments in the field, both from a hardware and software perspective. The Vision Engineer therefore plays a central role in ensuring the quality of components and assembly on our lines. From feasibility assessment to customer support, including design, commissioning, and qualification of vision systems, he/she is involved throughout the entire project cycle to guarantee reliable, high-performance solutions that meet customer requirements.
Your main activities
- Conduct feasibility evaluations and tests arising from requests for proposals
- Design vision systems according to specifications, at the optical, hardware, and software levels
- Program algorithms to meet customer specifications
- Commission and qualify vision systems according to specifications and up to the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)
- Ensure corrections are made with the help of the relevant services
- Ensure correct and complete documentation of the final state of the systems (optical, software, parameters, and configuration)
- Ensure the execution of these activities in compliance with the project process (DP ENGS), deadlines, and defined costs
- Participate in scrum events and team sprints. Plan and track tasks in our scrum tool (DevOPS)
- Guarantee training of our customers
- Work at our branches, at our customers, or via video conference (start-ups, external acceptances, troubleshooting)

Your profile
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science and communication systems, microtechnology, or equivalent training
- 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial vision and image processing in the field of automation
- Knowledge of Cognex or Keyence products is a plus.
- Flexibility and availability for travel to our customers or other group sites (10-20%).
- Very good knowledge of French and English is essential. German: an advantage.
