G&F Châtelain, a branch of Chanel SARL, is Chanel's watchmaking and jewelry manufacture in Switzerland. Responsible for developing, manufacturing, and assembling the brand's watches and jewelry, our site brings together a wide variety of trades combining artisanal know-how and very high technology.
You will join the Logistics teams. As a Subcontracting Manager, your main mission is to ensure the follow-up of subcontracted parts. You will report to the Supply & Subcontracting Manager.
YOUR IMPACT AT CHANEL
You will be in charge of the following tasks:
- Monitor all basic functions of subcontracting: receipt of parts, inspection, preparation and receipt of orders, validation and entry of documents (including invoicing)
- Follow up with subcontractors and maintain regular contact on various ongoing matters, reminding them if necessary
- In collaboration with Production and Planning, assess the subcontractors' workload-capacity
- Perform packaging of different types of components
- Ensure the validity of the service's operating procedures and update them if needed
- Participate in archiving the service's data
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a commercial employee or an equivalent diploma. You have successful experience in a similar position, ideally acquired in the industrial sector, and more particularly within a watchmaking company.
You master office tools such as Excel and Word, and you easily adapt to using an ERP. Knowledge of ProConcept is an asset.
You demonstrate proactivity, rigor, perseverance, and great methodology. You know how to organize your priorities and appreciate teamwork. Your versatility, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, allows you to effectively respond to the diversity of tasks related to this position.
