How you inspire
- You have gained several years of leadership experience in the same or similar positions and your profound knowledge in credit business (private and corporate clients) as well as, if possible, in recovery distinguishes you
- You have diverse experience in handling demanding business cases and know what it takes to work successfully with a wide range of stakeholders
- You have successfully completed an academic or higher vocational training in business administration and have also further specialised in banking
- Your strong analytical and conceptual skills allow you to analyse complex problems and develop viable solutions and implement them quickly and effectively
- You possess strong communication skills as well as the assertiveness and resilience necessary for this position and its associated tasks
What you bring
- Together with your team, you are responsible for the operational handling of the recovery and debt collection business of Berner Kantonalbank. In doing so, you also take responsibility for the development of demanding strategies in recovery and manage your own customer portfolio in German and French
- You lead the Recovery and Debt Collection team with 9 employees both in terms of personnel and expertise. Employee and team development is particularly important to you in order to sustainably secure joint success. Furthermore, you continuously review the processes in recovery and debt collection and initiate necessary changes
- You support the specialists in the Recovery and Debt Collection team as well as the financial coaches in sales in demanding and high-risk business relationships. You actively influence customers with an increased risk profile yourself
- You assess the default risk and are responsible for the value adjustment process, implement measures for early detection of risk positions and approve transactions independently or submit applications to higher authorities
- Your active participation in projects and process optimisations complements your diverse range of tasks
