For the Institute for Behavioural, Socio-Emotional and Psychomotor Developmental Support, we are seeking a committed individual from 1 September 2026 or by arrangement for the strategic teaching, research and development field "Educational-Therapeutic Developmental Support and Psychomotor Skills".
This strategic teaching, research and development area is dedicated to body-, movement- and relationship-oriented developmental support, especially in the field of psychomotor therapy. The focus is on the further development of concepts that consider the interaction of motor, socio-emotional, cognitive and relational developmental processes and their significance for learning, behaviour, self-regulation, mental health and social participation. The position combines psychomotor, remedial and special education as well as therapeutic perspectives, thereby strengthening the positioning of the HfH in a nationally and internationally growing discourse on the importance of corporeality, relationships and movement for development and education.
Your area of responsibility
- Development and further advancement of the teaching, research and development field
- Comprehensive responsibility in the teaching, research and development field within the fourfold mandate (education, continuing education, research & development and services)
- Professional supervision of project teams and promotion of young researchers
- Dissemination in scientific publications, at expert committees, conferences and within the scientific community
- Professional contribution to the implementation of the overall strategy of the HfH
- Bringing your expertise into the further development of the institute, committees and working groups
- Visible positioning of the HfH in professional debates as well as in national and international networks
- Assuming responsibility in the further development of the institute
Your profile
- Doctorate in remedial and special education, educational sciences, psychology, therapy sciences, movement or sports sciences or a related discipline
- Qualification or professional certification in psychomotor therapy (EDK)
- Comprehensive expertise in psychomotor developmental support, body- and relationship-oriented interventions as well as in the promotion of socio-emotional development
- Proven knowledge of the Swiss education, therapy and support system as well as good networking in the professional field
- Experience in the conception and management of research and service projects
- Proven expertise in scientific publishing and third-party funding acquisition
- High didactic competence in university teaching
- Leadership, communication and cooperation skills
- Interest in evidence-based, practice-oriented and at the same time theoretically reflected further development of psychomotor therapy
