Machine Setter Press Shop 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• Setting up single-part presses for grinding tools up to Ø80mm or disc presses for grinding tools over Ø80mm with a pressing force up to 1,500kN

• Processing single-part and series orders in the area of grinding wheels and dressing tools

• Loading and unloading of sintering furnaces including documentation of orders

• Carrying out minor maintenance work on the machines

• Conducting pressing trials and optimisation of process workflows

• Inspection and repair of operating equipment

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed vocational training in an industrial environment (basic mechanical training advantageous)

• Experience in powder pressing advantageous

• High technical understanding and spatial imagination

• Sensitivity for handling fragile components as well as very high quality awareness

• German spoken and written

• Willingness to undertake internal further training to take on extended tasks and support other departments if required (e.g. setting up and operating 2- to 3-axis CNC machine tools)
