The company Backer ELC is a subsidiary of the Swedish NIBE Group, for which over 18,000 employees work worldwide. We employ around 50 people at our location in Teufenthal. For over ninety years, we have been developing, producing, and selling highly compact round and flat heating elements for industrial and commercial applications. This long-standing experience is the prerequisite for customer-specific complete solutions in the areas of heating, measuring, controlling.

You independently carry out the operational procurement processing of the assigned product groups from disposition to ordering to invoice verification within the area of responsibility. Furthermore, you clarify the internal demand and coordinate the procurement of technical materials as well as services. This includes monitoring incoming goods, checking demand and inventory, and you are responsible for handling incoming goods complaints and credit requests against suppliers. In addition, you independently conduct price and contract negotiations up to the conclusion of framework agreements. The work environment is complex and requires, in addition to a healthy amount of initiative, creativity, perseverance, and the willingness to commit long-term. Besides other general administrative tasks, you actively maintain the disposition data in the ERP system and communicate with various internal interfaces.

• Completed basic training in the technical field, preferably with experience in mechanics and/or electrical engineering
• Commercial further education with a federal certificate of competence, e.g., as a technical clerk and/or purchaser
• High technical affinity, good technical understanding, and the ability to read drawings are important prerequisites
• Professional experience in procurement in an industrial company is mandatory
• German and English skills, both spoken and written
• Good user knowledge of the MS Office suite
