For our Outpatient Clinic for Torture and War Victims we are looking for a committed specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy immediately or by arrangement. The workload is flexible (20–80%).
What you can achieve
- Conduct trauma-focused assessments and psychotherapeutic treatments of refugee adults and/or refugee children and adolescents involving intercultural interpreters
- Responsibility for the psychopharmacological treatment of our patients
- Handling administrative tasks related to treatment processes
- Regular participation in case discussions, supervisions, and internal training sessions
- If needed, psychiatric case assessment within the framework of the ordering model
- Co-design of therapeutic offerings
- If interested, participation in public relations (project work, planning and implementation of internal and external training events)
What you bring
- Completed and Switzerland-recognized training as a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy
- Interest in working with traumatized refugees; ideally, you have experience in migration and trauma
- Enjoy working in a role-based manner within an interdisciplinary team to achieve the best possible therapeutic outcomes together
- An open, flexible personality with strong social skills
- Very good German skills in speaking and writing (C2), good French and English skills and/or knowledge of another language is an advantage
