Welcome to the Social Network Association District of Horgen (SNH). We provide social services for adults in difficult life situations and promote their social and professional integration.
At Café Barrière, we combine gastronomy with social commitment: Daily, we prepare up to 500 lunch menus for our canteen and surrounding schools, organize catering, and operate a small, charming dining area. The focus is on supporting and promoting our program participants in their integration.
This position is aimed at experienced professionals from the gastronomy sector with training in work education or relevant practical experience and a willingness to further their education in this area.
What to expect from us
- Guiding and accompanying program participants in the kitchen with individual professional support in their daily work
- Taking on key worker responsibilities, documentation, and communication with the relevant authorities
- Supporting the kitchen managers in production
- Diverse administrative tasks in both operational and educational areas
- Co-designing workflows and program content
You bring
- Experience and joy in working with people in challenging life situations
- Completed training as a Work Educator FA and as a Chef/Cook EFZ with several years of professional experience
- Organized, flexible, and resilient in a diverse environment
- Valid driver's license category B (for vehicles with manual transmission)
- Good PC skills
